C.V.Rajan is a retired Design Engineer, now living with his wife in Ashram at Amritapuri, Kerala, spending his retired life in quest of spirituality under the holy feet of Amma, Satguru Mata Amritanandamayi.
He is an avid reader and a writer. Writing as a hobby started in him at the age of 20 and he became a regular short story writer in popular Tamil magazines during 1970-90. From his late twenties, he developed deeper interest in knowing Hinduism and spirituality.
C.V.Rajan considers himself a store-house of vivid memories — memories of his childhood, boyhood and adulthood. Seeing people and happenings with an inquisitive mind was his inborn nature and he believes that his blossoming into a writer was a consequence of his memories.
In his early fifties, his Tamil articles related to spirituality started appearing in Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam magazine. He also started writing in English in the Web at various blog sites on variety of subjects like Hinduism, spirituality, life & living, healthy living, Indian culture, personal anecdotes and so on . He is a translator too (Tamil-Malayalam-English). His articles also appear once in a while in Matruvani (Spiritual Monthly magazine from Mata Amritanandamayi Math)
